SBD

from SEETHELIGHT7 collection # 0538

***********************************

1st generation SBD tape. Thanks to SEETHEFUZZ7 for digitalizing it from tape and sending it to me.

Rec. Info:

1st gen tape -> wav-file -> wetransfer -> Magix Music Cleaning Lab (edit) -> FLAC (44,1 kHz, 16 Bit, Stereo) -> DIME

Absolute excellent sound. Track 1 fades in, track 2 cuts in and there are 3 more cuts within this track.

This is an absolute smasher despite the problems with track 1 + 2. This night the original act were the New Christs (uploaded next).

Accord. to SEETHEFUZZ7 the Celbate Rifles were not on the list but they were seen in the audience (at least some members of them).

So they were “forced” to play after the New Christs set. And the very special thing is that they were supported by some of the New Christs,

i. e. Rob Younger, Charlie Owen and Jim Dickson. So this tape is sort of a sensation. The last part of the show consists of covers.

Just listen to Sweet Jane and you will be knocked off. Enjoy it like I did.

There is a bootleg EP of the show, “Rob Younger And The Celibate Rifles” on “Compassion Explosion! Records – CE-004”,

only consisting of the last 4 songs, without Sweet Jane (see attached cover).

Setlist (43:36 min.)

01 – The More Things Change

02 – Dancing Barefoot (Patti Smith/B. Springsteen)

03 – ?

04 – Sometimes

05 – This Week

06 – Kill Your Sons (Lou Reed)

07 – I-94 (Radio Birdman) / with Rob Younger

08 – Shakin’ All Over (Johnny Kidd and the Pirates) / with Rob Younger

09 – She’s So Fine (Easybeats) / with Rob Younger

10 – Sweet Jane (Lou Reed)

11 – It’s A Long Way To The Top (If You Want To Rock And Roll) (ACDC) / with Rob Younger

Support the artists, go to their shows, buy their albums.

Do not convert to lossy files, unless for personal use. Don’t ever sell!

Line-Up:

see above, the Celibate rifles members are not clear, but certainly Damien Lovelock is singing.
