Personal Notes:
What I always liked about this show was the Fact that one it was Jimi’s only Appearance in my Hometown Vienna and second it has one of the last live Versions of Are You Experienced. I’ve always thought that the Recording was a rather awkward sounding Stereo Recording and I found out that by delaying one channel about 10 milliseconds would result in a true mono sound. I think with the EQ applied the sound of the tape comes closer to other January 69 Germany recordings (for example Cologne or Munster) – a pretty good example of this would be Spanish Castle Magic from the Second Show.
