Aside from the fact the Red Elvises already make some of the more interesting "surf rock" available, due in part to their funky ethnic and disco twists, when they write in their native russian they rise above their occaisonally stilted english lyrics.
This album has taken up permanent residence in my car’s changer. It’s catchy, it’s varied, there’s confidence behind the russian lyrics…very well done.
