The Dylan Covers Vol. 5:
Human Gods Aim For Their Mark
Note from Jeffs98119, the compiler and uploader on Dime:
A few notes:
05 According to Dime mods, this was part of a PPV broadcast and had to be deleted. (replaced in my library with the official version from All Things Must Pass)
08 Final show of Richard Thompson side project featuring Ralph McTell, Dave Pegg, and Dave Mattacks)
09 From the Bill Graham Memorial Concert. I guess Dylan couldn’t make it.
13 Crowds seem to bring out the worst in Mick. Here, rehearsing in Toronto, he brings some real feeling to this anthem, as opposed to the mere bluster of the concerts that would follow.
15 Amnesty International Concert featuring U2, Sting, and Peter Gabriel, among others.Due to the many different sources, I am not including lineages. The first and last cuts are audience recordings. "Highway 61" is a matrix. The rest are soundboards or FM.I have done nothing to the original files but normalize the levels and fade in and out on each track (using Cool Edit).
Thanks, of course, to the tapers, the original uploaders, and especially the performers and composer and to Pdiamond for the art.
Cheers, Jeffs98119
