mine just arrived from ontario, and im rocking it right now. sadly there is no track listing, which is probably going to drive me insane. if my santa wants to remain anonymous, pls send the tracklist to viker so i can rip/upload. otherwise can you post it here?
tracks i know or can take a guess at:
2: lightning bolt
6: animal collective (wild stab on this one)
7: cocorosie (?)
8: blonde redhead
9: sufjan stevens (?)
11: andrew bird (?)started off strong for me with the stuff i didnt know, and then veered a little too into "popular" indie and indie-folk stuff for my tastes. then at track 13 we get some crazy-awesome droney solo saxaphone minimalism that lasts 8 minutes (i gotta at least know what this is). then we have a couple rockin jams, and we go out on a jazzy post rock-ish jam with lots of different instruments (brass, synths, melodica/accordion, choir… at least) over funky bass and solid drumming.
it’s definitely very listenable overall. thanks a lot!
