The New Pornographers: Challengers
The last time I caught up with The New Pornographers they put on a high energy, Jack Daniels sponsored show at the High Noon Saloon last April.
The group readies the release of Challengers on August 21st, and you have to applaud their record label for offering the album up in collaboration with Buy Early Get Now. In a nutshell, you pre-order the album now and receive access to stream the album until the release date, and will also be showered with bonus live and unreleased tracks.
While I can’t sing the praises of the bonus material, about ten spins through Challengers I can say that this album is certainly everything I was hoping for. Check out the first single, “My Rights, Versus Yours” below!
