I’ve owned this original silver since about 1995. Along with Jimi is Billy Cox on Bass, and Mitch Mitchell on Drums. Please note not all track times listed on the original silver are correct. Please also note this roio is incomplete as ‘Red House’ is missing in between ‘Ezy Rider’ and ‘Come On’. This Mono Audience recording has VG/VG+ SQ in my humble opinion. There is some high end ‘hiss’, especially at lower recording levels, and the high end also sounds somewhat muted or muffled. There are times I’d personally like Jimi’s vocals to be a bit louder, and there is some minimal clapping at the end of some tracks, but NONE of these issues take away from the enjoyment of this great performance whatsoever. Personally, the ‘Room Full of Mirrors’ is good enough to download this entire show!!
The only other noted anomalies are…..
Track 7, 2:21 (sound fluctuation for a few seconds).
Track 7, 5:19 (quick skip/splice??).
Track 8, 2:55 (very minor click/pop).As for the Artwork, it’s pretty cool. The front cover unfolds into a double-sided 9.5 square inch poster, and the disc itself has a really neat ‘paint job’.
Overall, a great show nearing the end of Jimi’s life which we all know was cut WAY to short.
