Another point of VU Vol. 10 – and Lou transformed the VU…(part 1)
Here we are! It’s the beginning of VU covers by Lou reed himself. So, you’ll find only songs covered AFTER the VU. I’ve put the covers in the PSAS box-set order adding too several versions for some tracks. I think Lou never covered
thses tracks: “run run run” , “european son” (except w. the Feelies that was already done…and uploaded), “The Black angel’s death song” and “Lady Godiva’s operation”.But maybe I’m wrong… The choice of the tracks is very subjective:I’ve done my best but I’m sure it would be better but…it’s my choice!
So, if you have infos, opinion about good covers, files to send etc..let me know!
Well, I’ve done nothing to the tracks except some little things with Cool Edit ( removing gaps here and there, fading out…). I’ve tried to do the best I could. I’ve included the origin of each track.
