Another point of VU Vol. 9 – VU covers- Various Artists – reseed by request
First great thanks twice to all the guys who helped me sending tracks, making artworks etc… and particularly for this Volume and the following my old friend Valfred, the man who made me love that f****** music
It’s the last Volume with covers by Various artists: the final bunch ! Hope you enjoyed this serie : I’ve heard some of them and I’m not too disappointed by the result…. You can also find on this site a show with VU covers by a group called Foggy Notion. Next volume, the 10th, will see the beginning of the Lou Reed’s covers. So, you’ll find only VU songs covered by Lou AFTER the VU. So, if you have infos, opinion about good covers, files to send etc..let me know!
I gonna put covers together int he PSAS box-set order: so, i’m looking for some titles covered by Lou I don’t have:“All tomorrow’s parties”

etc…If he ever covered them….
Well, I’ve done nothing to the tracks except some little things with Cool Edit (removing gaps here and there, fading out…). I’ve tried to do the best I could. I’ve included the origin of each track and the sound quality when I knew it. Stephbear’s artwork included. Thanks to him! All tracks have been found , uploaded and allowed on Dime or archive.org Some bands or artists are not very well known (even by me!) but I think they deserve to be heard and their covers smell like VU spirit! Note to the fans:I consider “Satellite of love” as a VU song because it features on the PSAS box set as a demo.
