This was one of the sold-out-in-minutes shows that went along with AFP’s kickstarter mini-tour. It was not one of the special backer-only art shows, just the regular concert that went alongside that. They played lots of songs from the new album, and the crowd was exceptionally enthusiastic and fun.
Notes:
Beginning of track 1, I muttered something impolite accidentally towards the mic when I was smacked quite hard in the face by something thrown from the stage.
At the very end, the sound gets a little weird for a few seconds, because she did a bit of stagediving and I was caught up in the mad rush towards the stage.
There’s one song where there are a lot of long pauses with cheering and shouting and at one point someone yells “OH SHIT!” This was because during the pauses, everyone in the band would drop their instrument and they’d all run around and grab another instrument to play. Fun when you’re there, kind of confusing when it’s audio-only.
