I originally mastered this 2011-12-03.
This FLAC fileset comes from WAVs from this dub, which only needed SBE corrections in TLH; no CD-Rs or EACs.
NOTES
I had a variety of hip hop video things recorded to HiFi VCR videotapes (where are they now?), from all sorts of sources.
At some point I gathered up live performances from some of them & dubbed the audio onto cassette, as “car tapes”.
Imperfect, but as things were broadcast in stereo by then & this was originally captured by a HiFi VCR, it doesn’t sound too bad at all.
You may well have seen & sampled the other 2 editions of this I shared out here (one’s still around on the tracker).
I thought they were the only collections I had made.
Unbeknownst to me until just recently, I had started on a THIRD tape.
I’d never finished pulling things off the videotapes to complete the 100min tape here, so it never ended up in the car with the other tapes.
(Tho I continued video taping such things up to the end of ’92.)
And so it sat next to a rack behind something / I didn’t see it & it gathered 20 years’ worth of dust.
Just the other day, I removed the thing it was behind &…. voila!
And after a dust-off, it headed over to the tapedeck so I could share it wit’cha.
I reordered some things, so you’d not hear the same tune again nearly one after the other.
There’s a buzz in the background of many of the clips, more noticeable in quiet parts, oh well.
Small price to pay, to hear some old classics live.
I did not attempt any cleanup; if you’re up for it, give it a go.

Unlike most things out here, this one probably WOULD sound better WITH the 2-second gap inserted while burning.
Each track is an autonomous unit, SBE’ed with the pad option.

Filenames have numbers on the end that are the TIMES (ex. – “…-359” is 3min59sec long).
