Lush, layered and gorgeous Russian shoegaze surfacing in U.S. this past Feb/March thanks to Portland, OR based Shelflife Records, a label known for this sort of thing (The Fireworks quickly coming to mind). Great friends also of Landing/Tinniens definitely showing their influence along with that of pretty much every 90’s shoegazer that comes to mind. But Pinkshinyultrabla is definitely still unique. Continually being repressed in small editions seeming to build hype as each quickly sells out. Great band would love to see in the U.S. live.
