This is taped from the Punk-Rock Cop’s 2 LP bootleg. My guess is that this is the very first Joan Jett bootleg – he got it a LONG time ago! On the LP jacket there is unfortunately precious little info – not date, place, nothing. Further complicating finding out more about the gig is that JJ’s production company wound up being called Jett Lagg, just like the boot, so if you do a search you get 10,000 hits, none of em for the boot. None of it is officially released – there is nothing by this line-up anywhere. The SQ ranges from excellent to good.
I saw the Runaways once toward the end and when I saw this line-up I remember saying "This guy’s good, but he’s no Lita Ford." [That’s called self-depricating humor] Lita is a great guitarist, but, Roscoe has stood the test of time a little better.
