Three songs from the EP – “Mine Tonight”, “I Got Nothing” and “Trees and Flowers” – were originally recorded for 2011’s Only in Dreams but put aside for being “too different” and “atmospheric”.[3] These songs were intended to be used b-sides; for instance, the Strawberry Switchblade cover of “Trees and Flowers” was to accompany “Bedroom Eyes” on the unreleased 7″ single.[4] The remaining songs were recorded a year later in New York City in Chelsea, Manhattan.-wikipedia
