Sun Ra & His Intergalactic Cosmo Love Dance Orchestra – Mandela

here is the info file from Dime

Sun Ra and

His Cosmo Love Dance

Orchestra

Mandela Room, SUNY-Binghamton

Binghamton, NY

6-December-1987

Yet another installment of soundboard recordings in the Bob Scalcione collection.

CONTRAST CLAUSE: This torrent was made from what appear to be the original master tapes from this performance. It is approximately 110 minutes long as opposed to the 93 minutes of a previous torrent of this performance.

This, if memory serves, is one of two different performances that Sun Ra gave at what is now Binghamton University before his passing.

Lineage: SBD Tape > Nakamichi CR-1A > Adobe Audition (hard drive transfer, level adjustments and tracking) > FLAC, level 8 > You, the listener!

If you want to convert this program to MP3 for use in an Ipod or similar appliance, that’s fine. PLEASE DO NOT CIRCULATE IT IN THAT FORM.

Selling bootleg versions of this program is not only a violation of our trust, it’s pointless!

While I enjoy Sun Ra’s music, I’m not entirely familiar with the titles of the pieces presented here. A track listing would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
