A sequel to the fan club label’s collection of B-sides, odds and ends, and rarities. Exclusive to this collection are "Daydream in Space," a melding of Sun Ra, Barry White, and moody atmospherics circa 1985 (Sun Ra was going to be the focus on the abandoned Great American Composers series Part 3), and a very tuneful reworking of the Monkees’ "Daydream Believer," which demonstrates that, along with the Fall, the Residents can make any song their own. Rarities include a 1971 radio interview with Philip Lithman (aka Snakefinger), and 13 minutes of "The Boarding House," an unbearably chaotic live gig, pre-Residents, where a very familiar voice leads a boisterous crowd through pep rally cheers for their (imaginary?) mentor N. Senada, until assaulting them with free jazz sax and guitars. Lithman’s take on Zappa’s "King Kong" lays far outside the usual sound of the group, as well. The compilation then takes us back into the ’90s for outtakes from Freak Show and a fiery rendition of "Burning Love" from a German TV show that surpasses any other version they’ve recorded.
