mikedreams on… Round 3: On DIME today I posted a Lily Allen torrent followed by a Lana Del Rey.

Then I had to wake and shake myself up. To see if you were still alive & kicking out the jams, motherfuckers!

To start again to smell the white steel roses.

– Sounds like an AUD. Recorded so close to stage.

(Starts off with the bass booming a bit rough on the 1st song, then gets better till by #5 the quality is quite high, before dipping a bit on the encores.)

– Hole Lotta Love Girl rules her court:

On Minneapolis… After ‘Asking For It,’ she explains, “Me, Lori and Kat used to dance here.” …Enough said.

Then, about First Ave, Court says she was with Kurt there, kissing. “It was about 3 years ago to this day. Somebody in the club — 20 people — took my coat and ripped into a bunch of pieces

and threw it in the trash. That’s Minneapolis for me, so here’s this song for you, OK?” [cue Softer]

After that, she says she has a friend in the audience: a little 17-18 year-old girl who puts out a fansize, and is trying to start a band. That she and her friend can’t walk down the street without

the local scenesters giving her shit. So Miss Champion of the World goes, “Fuck you guys. Come here. I’ll take you all on after the show. Meet me at the bus. …I will exact my revenge on you.”

[cue Gutless]

– Sounds like a bomb going off, all night long, right in front of your face.

Watching her burn… right through you.
