Track 17: Grey Eagle Tavern-Asheville, NC MY 3, 2001Here’s a project I’ve been working on for a while. One of the many things I love about Alejandro’s music is the wonderful covers he does live. He truly makes each and every one his own, if you are a follower and collector of his music you know exactly what I mean.
These selections come from my collection and a couple of downloads (thanks to those tapers and uploaders). Most are soundboards, a few are excellent audience recordings.
I made sure to not use any released versions and when possible I kept shows together for continuity, I hope you get as much joy out of listening to this as I have.
When Alejandro comes to a town near you, go see him, tape him and buy his merchandise and cd’s. He is a national treasure!
Thanks to Al for allowing his wonderful music to once again be shared and to those inside and outside that have kept a smile on my face for many many years by keeping me well supplied with all those magical shows.
For trade only, please don’t sell, MP3 for your own pleasure only.
Enjoy!
mjk5510A couple minor adjustments:
Disc 1 track 3 – the Santo & Johnny song is Sleep Walk
Disc 2 track 15 – the Velvet Underground song is After Hours
Another minor correction: disc two track 9 is called "The Man Who Sold The World".
