COMMENTS:
I tried to rip this bootleg directly from the silvers – but strangely enough I got an "error-massage" for each and every CD – during the first 10 seconds of each track. I listened through the rip – but I couldn’t hear any errors/skips. And there are NO scratches on the CD….I just bought this bootleg.
So I copied the CDs to CDRs with Nero 7, listened though it (nothing wrong with them) – and ripped them with EAC – and then it worked out great (didn’t have to wait 30 minutes for the "error correction" for each 0-10 seconds of each and every track)
This is the reason for the strange lineage.

I bought this bootleg after reading the review at collectorsmusicreviews ( http://www.collectorsmusicreviews.com/clapton-eric/eric-clapton-the-new-national-pastime-godfather-records-gr373374/ )

Though the reviews at this site are NOT to be trusted; I had a weak moment. But I never heard the original recording of this Seattle show, so I can’t say if Godfather ruined it, or improved it. I know for sure that Godfather ruin a LOT of the recordings with the EQ slaughter….but alas; I can’t say, when it comes to this Clapton show

Either how, it’s a GREAT recording….a little heavy on the bass though – and also a great performance from Clapton. I especially love "Wonderful Tonight" (no joke!…it’s a great version), "Lay Down Sally", "Cocaine" and "Layla".
It’s recommended….I’ve been enjoying this bootleg a lot. If the original recording of this Seattle show was better sounding….I’d love to hear it – so please torrent!

As you all know, this "Another Ticket" tour was aborted after 7 concerts, due to Clapton being/getting ill – after drinking so much, for so many years.
I can recommend his autobiography – he writes about his alcoholism – as well as so many other things….it’s a great read

ARTWORK:
Included (taken from the web)…reworked it a bit, to make it fit a CD-case (Godfather releases those popular "digipacks")…still didn’t come out too good. I might post a high resolution scan at this thread in a few days….watch out

Enjoy…..Erik_Snow
