Ten Years After – Live In Amsterdam

here is the info file from Dime

TEN YEARS AFTER Oude RAI, Amsterdam, The Netherlands December 15. 1971

Taken from double vinyl album “Live In Amsterdam”

I sure do remember this concert. I wasn’t there ( I was too young) but my sister went there. I was really jealous. I liked the band alot .

Big sis had the “Going Home “single and I had the Woodstock triplet and double album.

I ran into this 2 lp yeaaaaaaars later in a bootleg store.

Decades later I talked to a colleague, who used to be a lighting engineer (spark)in those days.. Turned out he was one of the Supertrouper electricians on this gig !

I made him very happy with a cd copy.

I gave my copy of the original vinyl to my sister for her birthday, ten years after I bought it.

I made her very happy too, I think.

A bootleg is still a bootleg but this one is exceptional in every way. The cover, the presentation, and the fact that they also decided on Ten Years After to be the very first band to be represented on their new record label says it all.
