Crash Test Dummies – Puss ‘n’ Boots

rolling stone

Wow…is this the band that made the last two subpar albums "Give Yourself a Hand" and "I Don’t Care that You Don’t Mind?" They sure don’t sound like it. The Crash Test Dummies that made Puss ‘N’ Boots sound revitalized. The only weak track on this outing is "Flying Feeling." It kind of feels like an unnecessary retread of older stuff. But besides that, these songs are top-notch. "Triple Master Blaster" makes CTD come alive like they never have before. And when Brad wants to create a mood, you’re coming along whether you want to or not. Songs like "It’s a Shame" and "I’m the Man (That You Are Not)" reel you in and don’t let go. "Stupid Same" has the best music I’ve ever heard in a CTD song. This is a must buy. The Crash Test Dummies are back!
