Copter crew rescues man off mountain
A Coast Guard helicopter crew rescued a 64-year-old man off of a 7,000-foot mountain on the Olympic Peninsula on Sunday night.
KIRO-TV reported the man was injured and unable to move when a Coast Guard HH-65C Dolphin helicopter from Port Angeles was sent to the scene at 7:45 p.m.
The helicopter crew hoisted the man from The Brothers mountain at an altitude of just over 7,000 feet and took him to the Guard Air Station Port Angeles. He was then taken to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles; there was no word on his condition.
