Will rides a little old REI Novara Amiga. It was his first bike. I’d get him a bigger one but he wouldn’t like it any better.

  • replaced seat post with a lighter (unsprung) one
  • replaced handlebars with shorter ones
  • replaced middle chainring with unmashed one
  • mounted 2 in Serfas tires with recessed tread

  • 26 x 1.95 inch tires

  • replaced the tubes with presta valved ones
  • replaced the rigid fork with a light-weight rockshox suspension fork salvaged from Will’s mountain bike (see photo)
