This is a view down the Spider Glacier from about two-thirds of the way up. In most places the walls of the coulouir are steeper and narrower than they apper here.
This is a view down the other side of Spider Col – you can’t see the Lyman Glacier but if you look closely you can make out the icebergs in upper Lyman Lake.

This is the two of us standing in fron the the Devil’s Backbone sign near Shady Pass. We didn’t ride that trail but enjoyed the ride down into the Entiat Valley.
