Visit the City’s website to see photos of the September 22 Interurban Trail celebration. The City of Shoreline wants to thank everyone who supported this project through design and construction and invites you to come out and enjoy the trail.
Now that the City’s portion of construction is complete, the project page will soon be transformed into a facilities page under the Parks Department section of the website. This email subscription list will no longer be used for Interurban updates.
Please be sure to visit the email subscription sign-in page again (see link at left) to update your selected City of Shoreline email topics. Thanks again for your interest and support of Shoreline’s Interurban Trail.

Here’s what the trail looks like north of 185th street:
A guy working at the self-storage place told me that Sky Nursery was supposed to construct the trail behind it’s store instead of letting the city build it in the PUd right-of-way. Guess that they’ll get around to it someday…
Meanwhile, as far as Shoreline is concerned it’s done.
(Different rant, but the Shoreline situation is better than the Seattle stretch between 128th and 145th – the street markings seem to indicate that they are going to go with the stupid shared lanes instead of building the trail in the city light right-of-way next to the road. )
