The Brothers

 

Left Lena Lake trailhead about 1:00 and got to camp at about 4:00. Found a big group from Olympic College camped at the forks. Rained a little before dawn. Left camp at about 7:00, overtook the Olympic College group at the hourglass where they were roping up(!). Left the summit as they were arriving in a drizzle. Snowboarded down about 3,000 ft – the top 2,000 were pretty good. Packed up and hiked back to the cars, ariving at about 5:00

Evidently one of the instructors with the Olympic College group had to be airlifted off the summit with a ruptured achilles tendon.
